wwhite Posted July 9, 2003 Share Posted July 9, 2003 a copy to restore it with. Of course being an idiot I didn't preserve a copy before I tried changing the default text. I've tried checking my code..by matching it to other parts of the index...but it gives me parse error on line 16. I looked to my original files on my desktop and can't find the same index.php....is this written when I install on my server? Any help would be most appreciated. Guest Posted July 9, 2003 Share Posted July 9, 2003 Try renaming your amended files: catalog/default.php and catalog/includes/languages/english/default.php (if you are not sure which default it is) Then open the zip/tar file you downloaded with all the osc files in and extract these two files to their repective positions. Up load to your server and all shoudl work. You can then compare the origial with your renamed amended versions... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
