tidalx
This site was build to help my girlfriend and her friends sell their jewelry craft stuff. I tried testing it on as many browsers as I could find and I would really like to know what it looks like on IE for mac. I would also like someone to tell me how fast the front page actually loads on 56k modem and any other pages that might be too slow. The site is using 2checkout for billing which will be on test mode for about a week before the site goes live. So please don't put in fake orders after that (The front page will state whether it is in test mode, if its not there, please don't test 2checkout at all). Any bugs found or comments to help improve the site is appreciated. Thanks again. http://www.littlesurprises.com TL

Guest
Hi, Cool site, The scrolling image links on the left show up blank (using 56k modem), I had to wait a minute to allow all of the images to load up. If possible you should try using the preloadimage javascript function. Thanks, Taz
tidalx
I am sorry for the pain and sufferings I caused to 56k users. As per suggestions, I went back to optimize all my images, and install the sm, md, large contribution to better manage my img files. I even reactivated my 56k to better test it. Tried to be a little lazy and couldn't get away with it. I still need other 56kers out there to test the speed, and any others to also test the checkout procedure using 2checkout, which will only be under test mode for another few days. I appreciate any more criticisms and ways to improve the site. Thanks again

Anyone using a 28.8k modem should probably just get the hell off the internet. Those are nice reports you generate there. Thanks for the helpful guidelines. loxly
A "top performing site" by these guidelines would be text only...... [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
Guest
Indeed. I found this site when surfing around looking for those statistics thought someone might find it useful: http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ It gives a similar analysis. tidalx
There are two or three of contributions available for tab menus, the one I am using is http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1023 As for the pull down, I think you are talking about the sort pull down? That is hardcoded in. I am not sure whether there is a mod for it
