Please help I have osC 2.2MS1 on an XP Box. I am using Apache with MySql. On Localhost I cannot import the database info from oscommerce.sql

I have tried to do it through http://localhost/catalog/install and Manually

When i try to import through http://localhost/catalog/install i end up with

this only the first warning part shows up about a 100 times

"

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in C:apachehtdocscataloginstallincludesfunctionsdatabase.php on line 41

The database import was successful!

"

When I try to install manually i can create a database in MySql only I can't add to it.

Any help is appreciated

I presume you are using phpmyadmin?

To create the database manually, go into phpmyadmin, on the left you will see 'create new database', enter the name of your database into here and press 'create'.

Then on the right side of the screen it sais:

Run SQL query/queries on database gp

Just under this it sais:

Or Location of the textfile :

Where it sais this click browse and locate 'oscommerce.sql'

This is located here:

catalog  install  oscommerce.sql

Then click go and your database should be populated.
