As much as I am computer literate, I am computer dumb when it comes to websites... I know how to build using straight HTML, but when it comes to CSS, PHP, PL and several other extensions... I do not know how to change this on the main page of my store...

"This is a demonstration online-shop, any products purchased will not be delivered nor billed. Any information seen on these products are to be treated fictional.

If you wish to download this sample shop, or to contribute to this project, please visit the support site. This shop is based on osCommerce 2.2-CVS."

However, since I'm pretty saavy with graphics, I was able to add something to the top of the page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you look at the next line after what you pasted.... it tells you...

Or go to wiki.oscommerce.com

That was aboslutely of no help... I cannot find the string that says it, nor anything on how to change it. I appreciate the effort in pointing me in a direction, however, it was not fruitful.

To change the defaut settings, go to cpanel, includes/languages/english/default.php and if you do not use a text editor, I mean ftp the file down and edit in a text editor, you will probable have a good chance of getting white space and will be right back asking whats wrong with me site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I'd like to do, is setup my shopping cart so it doesn't have those two lines in it. I'm not asking for a great feat of the best website or anything, I'd just like to remove those two lines and maybe add a graphic in later. I have my whole site downloaded and made a copy of it so I don't mess up my original website.

I was just telling you the facts, but matbe you will get away with it, I have at times, go wher I said, click on edit, backspace what you want to get rid of, enter want you want. At the end, click you mouse to check for white spaces, there should be none at or past the php ending, oh and stay between the two ' and '

The text is in includes/languages/english/default.php. You just need to edit it to be the way that you want. It's in the line that starts define('TEXT_MAIN', '. You need to edit that line with the text that you want to appear. Everything that is within the '' will be produced as html in default.php.

ralph cohrs,

Sorry, I misunderstood you the first time... Between you and Mat, you've both been a great help.

Thats why we come here, I just wanted you to know about the craping white spots that took days for me to find, I knew nothing about them, or which file I left them in...
