Strange Problem

I have something of a strange problem with my store.


Once a customer has gone through the WorldPay payment screen and been passed back to the store, they have to click continue in order that the actual order is processed by the store. We do recieve an e-mail from WP telling us that a payment has been made but, because some customers don't click on the continue button to return to the store we don't have the order to process?


Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix ?

there is a similar problem with PayPal, which used to cause me some confusion for all the same reasons.


Recently someone posted an idea on how to fix that with PayPal, by including the details of the order in the order description that is sent to the PayPal checkout. Then if you don't get the order created, at least you have the information in the PayPal e-mail.

It should be possible to do something similar for Worldpay, although I haven't looked at this in any detail.

Thanks for that tip which I will have to try. However, is there no other way to prevent this happening? What about putting an auto redirect on that page or something along those lines ??
