Images are not uploading today

Yesterday I was adding images left and right but today I cannot. When I add an image for a product or category it shows up blank. Also, the files are being created in the images directory but they all have 0 bytes. I checked permissions and they are 777 so that should not be the problem. The only thing I've done that may impact the images is change the "require image" setting to false, but I have since set it back to true to see if this was the problem.

Any suggestions on what may be causing this?

I figured out that the problem was with my host, apparently there was a limit on disk space that I just reached and this was causing the problems.
