Guest Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 http://www.casetech.co.uk/product_info.php...products_id/110 How does he get his tables to be like that? With the grey comming from the top and down the right hand side? Where the add to cart button is etc. Anyone send me a template page? [email protected]
Guest Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 no, you dont understand. I mean the way the tables join together along the top and the right hand side of the description. If you oprn the html there are extra <td> tags, but im not too sure about them.
Guest Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 oh that, he made new buttons and inserted the in the top bar and catagories. your goona need a photo editor , or use a free one on line
mattice Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 it's done through stylesheets I think. You can actually assign a line on each side of the table cells with CSS. So you create a tables that seem to flow into eachother. "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
Guest Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 thanks mattice, at least someone can see what im on about. Im not very good at describing things but thanks everyone. Can anyone out there send me an example of the code? or put some up here??
maxrisc Posted July 6, 2003 Posted July 6, 2003 CSS is how it is done for sure. Basically all he is doing is defining his tables then adding color to them so that they seem to flow together. Copy his source into your editor. If you are using dreamweaver it's nicey nice for this. Then just go to each table and insert a link to call your style sheet for that kind of stuff. Make sure you have a stylesheet defined for it. I just added onto the existing OSC style sheets for my pages. I know I make it sound easy but I don't have time to type out a 5 page HOW-TO on it at the moment.
CC Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Yes it is done in CSS. But dont nick loads of my styles please...
CC Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 Yep, the site design has changed more than enuff to not come under the branch of OSC if we decide not too. And we decided not to.
