Guest Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 I want to use UPS, but the Contribution only works for US users I gather. I have products of variable weight shipping wordlwide. Now, UPS varies the charge by weight AND geographical zones. Can I easily config OSC to pick up the correct zone and apply the appropriate rates? Presumably I could duplicate the shipping rate file to cater for the different shipping zone rates. Can I use the zones feature within OSC to pick up the correct zone for shipping. I am already using zones to apply appropriate tax (VAT) rates :( Incidenatally, life is further complicated by the fact that the tax is UK where we operate but supply (and therefore shipping) is from Italy.
Guest Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 OK, anyone reading and interested in the answer, I have now found it :) There is a comment above the code in the shipping.php file.

Guest Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 First off - are you using this contribution from the US/ If not it won't work.
bitera Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 I have a client that sells cheese and their are product attributes for the weight of the cheese for instance 1 lb, 2 lbs, 3 lbs etc. Is there any way to have this weight be used for calculating UPS shipping. This would be extremely helpful. I searched the contributions but only used weight as the search term. TIA, John -- John Cannon
