Guest Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 there may be a contibution for that, click downloads on top, then contributions on left. Blocking ip address may not help. I'am on a roll ip address, meaning if I want to change it I turn off my motum and turn it back on, I have a different ip address, thats the way sbc, yahoo are set up, and some more.
Silencer Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 There is no need do this with osc. Open .htaccess in osc folder and add Deny from 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1 must be IP that you want block) You can block whole networks, just write something like 127.0.0 You can put unlimited "Deny from" lines. There is always more than one way to do it. And always Keep It Simple, Stupid.
Daisy Posted July 5, 2003 Author Posted July 5, 2003 Thank you both for your reply, I have now managed to block the IP addresses I wanted to by following Silencer's advice, I found that easier to do.
