Laurent Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 people hi Some poeple have the problem no email can be sent if osc is running on a Windows OS. I use: osc: 2.2MS1 OS: W2k web: IIS5 mail: Merak Mail Server v5.4.9 dyndns: mydomain.dyndns.org hint: - set in the osc admin gui mail transport method to smtp - set php.ini smtp connection with the IP (192.168.x.y) of your mail server (not localhost nor 127.0.0.1) - set mail exchange in your dyndns accout to mydomain.dyndns.org after that all works fine. The only thing that not works is, if you send a mail with osc to somebody that have a mail account to the same ISP as you. He can not replay the mail. That's not a osc bug :) send to: [email protected] send from: [email protected] ==> no replay send to: [email protected] send from: [email protected] ==> yeahh, replay ok I contact my ISP, he couldn't answer me why it dosen't work! Does have anybody this strange problem, too? regards Laurent
