Stock Level Warning

I is the a way to disable the stock warning msg that is displayed in the cart when someone is wanting to buy something.

 

I am selling hardware, but i do not hold any on hand, I buy as I need. Hence I need to disable the warning msg.

set your stock at high levels, like 50,000

If I am understanding your question correctly, you should have admin > Configure > Stock > Allow Checkout set to true and Mark Product out of stock erased (i.e. nothing there). Does turning Check Stock Level to false help you?

 

I'm assuming that you can't just set an ultra-high stock, because you need to receive notification about products that are out of stock (but don't want customers to know that).

I'm try to do the exact same thing, this is what i would like to do: Have stock set to zero, and when some thing is ordered, have a negative stock, the buy the stuff to set it back to zero. Also, when a stock item is less than or equal to zero, it no longer shows on the site, which i want it to. Can some one please help :lol:
