easy populate problems

Hello folks

 

I recently installed oscommerce and then easypopulate.

the cart works great n evberything but ive got troubles with easy populate

i set the temp directory but it doesnt seem to upload it there. it is writable.

so i changed the temp dir to /tmp n tried but no files are goin there either.

but when i click on inert into db it gives me a filename of random char but i cannot see that file.

i am unable to insert a tab delimited db into the catalog.

appreciate all the help i can receive.
