ViolentForce Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 When I select 'Database Backup' in the admin, at the top of the screen in a pink banner it says: " Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php." Can someone tell me what this is all about? Also how do I set it in configure.php? I looked at '/public_html/mysite/admin/includes/configure.php' This is all it had about backups: define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/'); // define our database connection Is this correct and is it the right configure.php file? I also don't see the backups directory this statement is referring to on my server.
Guest Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 The directory does not exist, just as the error says  .... yes, that is the correct file.... create a directory named 'backups' in your admin folder.... no need to edit the file
ViolentForce Posted July 3, 2003 Author Posted July 3, 2003 Thanks. That worked fine. Problem gone. But you would think a 'backups' directory would be created on install. Oh well, go figure.
Guest Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Any chance of turning off the animation in your avatar..?
ViolentForce Posted July 3, 2003 Author Posted July 3, 2003 I guess I could if needed. Why, is animation not allowed on avatars?
