Database backup Manager

When I select 'Database Backup' in the admin, at the top of the screen in a pink banner it says:

" Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php."

 

Can someone tell me what this is all about?

Also how do I set it in configure.php?

 

I looked at '/public_html/mysite/admin/includes/configure.php'

This is all it had about backups:

define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/'); // define our database connection

 

Is this correct and is it the right configure.php file?

I also don't see the backups directory this statement is referring to on my server.

The directory does not exist, just as the error says :shock: .... yes, that is the correct file.... create a directory named 'backups' in your admin folder.... no need to edit the file

But you would think a 'backups' directory would be created on install.
