Thank you Error (#2) An internal server error occurred. The above error occurred while the Web server was processing your request. Please contact us if you think this is a server error. Thank you. Ken_Shea Posted March 4, 2023 Author Posted March 4, 2023 Did get this back from web host, Sadly I'm clueless I have checked this for you and it appears that the error in question is originating from the Yii framework that's used by the website. Quote
osCommerce-Official Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 @pandreicould you please help here? Quote

Could you send me the log files from here: lib/backend/runtime/logs/*.log You probably don't have your email set up. Quote
Ken_Shea Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 Thank you for looking into this I did change the server which host the live web site and the V4 OSC testing. I had to change the live site previous mail from SMPT to sendmail due to not receiving order confirmation emails. Had not tried V4 for some time so not sure if this email change could have caused the V4 problem when it had been working, just mentioning it in case it might be a factor. app.log list.log sql_error.log Quote
Ken_Shea Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 pandrei Foe what it's worth, just reverted sendmail back to smtp, cleared browser cache, cleared server cache tried the link provided, still get the error. Quote

It seems you deleted languages or something like that. If you are still testing and don't fill in the database, I recommend that you reinstall osCommerce 21 hours ago, Ken_Shea said: just reverted sendmail back to smtp, cleared browser cache, cleared server cache tried the link provided, still get the error. We are writing the manual for setting up the email sending. You can read this thread for now: https://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/498267-smtp-w-tls-on-separate-mail-server-osc-v4/ Quote
Ken_Shea Posted March 7, 2023 Author Posted March 7, 2023 Cant get that far, errors out even before login. Quote
Ken_Shea Posted March 7, 2023 Author Posted March 7, 2023 I did delete all products using the available option to "Delete all demo products" but it did function after that. It errors out now before entering the login page. Before reinstalling believe it might be wise to just wait a couple months in hopes of further issues being found and corrected. Quote
pandrei Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 @Ken_Shea I've attached the file with all English translation constants. If you did not change the default language, just run it by mysql or PhpAdmin and error should gone. translations411.sql Quote

What is meant by "run" in PhPadmin? The Web Host wasn't sure either a bit more how to might help clear up the ?'s. Wish I could afford to hire a developer at each need but that's not possible. Quote

As I said earlier, the main part of database was corrupted. It seems you deleted the main language or something like that. There is no easy solution for this case. So, I recommend that you reinstall osCommerce. Quote
