cjf1026
How do I change the word VAT to Tax on my order checkout screen? I see I can get it to show "tax" on my invoice (I haven't checked yet but pretty sure I did), but when I add to cart and viee cart it shows the price and then VAT. I don't use VAT, I need it to say Tax. I assume I have to edit a language file somewhere but since the structure is different from old versions I cannot seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
cjf1026
I found it! It is in Design & CMS > Translation > Search VAT and in the "TEXT_INC_VAT" key you can edit it and change "VAT" to "Tax". SOLVED! Hope this helps someone else before they pull their hair out! Ken_Shea and osCommerce-Official
jroc9999
I noticed this too right away.. and I just happened upon your post by accident. I am in Canada and same here, we don't call it VAT. We call it Tax. The fix works. But there are two entries I changed not just one. "TEXT_INC_VAT" as you had noted above. Thanks.
