CrimSon_ReD Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Database Server The database server can be in the form of a hostname, such as db1.myserver.com, or as an IP address, such as 192.168.0.1. ok now I cant use an ip because im on shared hosting and it just doesnt work, it sayd I cant connect to it. meaning for example my site is setup like 000.000.000.000/~sitename so it doesnt worth that way. and the whole db1.myname.com doesnt work either. Is there some way to do this right?
