Fredthewebmaster
Hello, I have been trying to import a csv file of products to my new oscommerce installation but I am now getting this error in the message box that comes up after you click to process the file. "Primary key not found in file". Not sure what this means or how to solve this.
osCommerce-Official
Thanks for using osCommerce! Please let us know if you've exported the default file with the fields from osCommerce first? The system will be looking for the essential fields in the file. If this advise doesn't help, please feel free to send us an example of the feed via the messages here. Thanks! Fredthewebmaster
Yes I have changed the file many times to accommodate the field names for it, it but it just says this immediately. Do you have a list of default fields that I could confirm with that maybe what I am reading is out of date? Ivan Holbi
Hi, As far as we can see this error occurs when "Products model" field is not filled in. We would recommend to export the file with your products from your new osCommerce installation, use it as the sample, fill in the fields with your data and then import it back to the website. If it does not work please provide us with the file you tried to import to your website and faced this error for us to check it further. Best regards, Ivan
