thegordo Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 I know it's probably a newbie question, but I searched and searched and couldn't find a similar topic. I would like to have a member portion of my site that is outside the scope of the osC. The stunt is to have a user login to either the osC store or the other member portion of the site and have the session variables carry. Is this possible? I have all the database information worked out for both parts, all member information is being drawn from the store, and all other points are woking smoothly. I'm intent on not touching the osC code. I cannot, however, get either portion of the site to recognize the other. Same domain, same variables... I even have a (very mildly modified) application _top.php working on the non-osC portion of the site. Nonetheless, I feel like an idiot because I know I'm trying to operate in an area (cookies) in which I am not familiar. I thought the session was established to the domain... Oh, well. Am I trying the impossible? Is there a way to have the other side of the site operate within a template of the store? I'm open to anything. Gordo
