managingdirector
When installing "Installation v.4.02 build 49998", "Step 3", "Database Access", the installation script throws an error: "Error. Can't update database." The database initialization stopped after the 5th table: "admin_boxes". Is there a fix for this?
bonbec
Hello, To give the correct answer for this question, you have to turn into a clairvoyant with a crystal ball... You should give information about your configuration: Linux, Windows? PHP version? Database server version? Mysql, MariaDB? Quote with OsC 2.2 since 2006 ... This could be happening for a number of reasons, such as: - not enough space on your server - versions of the DB is different from what is required for osCommerce - see https://wiki.oscommerce.com/index.php?title=Installing_osCommerce_v.4.0 - the DB user doesn't have enough permissions You'd need to check system logs to see what is reported by your DB there. Let us know if any further assistance is required.
managingdirector
I am able to install osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4.1 on the same server as a test without any issues. Since some of the tables load, the problem appears to lie in the installation completing the job.
