Spaarky
I know I have to deal with one issue at a time but I'm mentioning both, because I suspect they may be related. I'm just trying to get this set up so I can actually use it. It's not "live" yet. So it's a fresh install with only minor mods to a couple of files. I can't put items in the cart. That's the issue. However, I am getting error messages, one when I try to put things in the cart, and another one when I log in to the admin panel. The error that I get in the admin panel right after logging in, is this: I've looked at this and the specific file listed, has permissions set at 0644. I believe that means I'm the only one that can write to that file. As for the second sentence, if I go to the security checks, I just get a blank page. The other error comes up when I try to add something to the cart: NOTE: I have an SSL certificate and, the site comes up as https: So I'm puzzled about the error. And last but not least, the version: (also shows the https) Any suggestions appreciated.

There will be two or three - each should be https and the enable ssl should be true. If that is the case there might be something on the page that is preventing the ssl from working. And if I click on the message I get a blank page on Security Checks. Then I tried the link you supplied. I get the following: I'm getting the impression from this that my SSL setup is OK. Making the error message when I try to put things in the cart even more suspicious.
Spaarky
OK, took a bit to figure out but I see it was just to add an 's' to the first define line to make it the same as the second. (But applying to http.) No error now, and things go in the cart. Now to test the checkout.
