Adding Products Attributes an easy way....

I was wondering is there an easier way to add Products Attributes or am i doing it the wrong way :P

 

Say i am selling a circle, and it comes in colours or red, blue,green, etc etc.

 

I added a Product Option which was called Colour, and several colours under that option. If i was to add all these options to the product im selling i would have to select the product and add each single colour at a time. This is that way i am doing it, is there any other way?
