Tabs and sub categries using contribution tabs

Hi all

 

I have this really strange problem with the tabs, I have installed and configured the tabs ver 1.3 contributions and that was fine, then i installed the tabs contribution which is an addition to the above contribution, and this was fine, "tabs" basically put sub categoris below the main categories, Like how the amazon site is.

Then i added new catergories and sub categories through admin panel and it displayed the categories but not the sub categories. I can see the sub categories in the left panel box but not the header any ideas suggestion, appreciated..
