Yes, you can add an iframe in your product description.  I think that should work.  But this:

I'm not familiar with Amazon (except for buying from there on the odd occasion) so cannot say...

But I went here:

Copied the second example and pasted into the product description (in admin) as so:

qwert.thumb.jpg.d917c177b406238ba50203f8e68f2d21.jpg

I then saved and visited the product page shop-side which showed me this:

asdfghj.jpg.ea3480dbad86b921f5aabc1b5b0019a6.jpg

Obviously it shows "not found" as there is no page on that domain called "demo_iframe.htm"

This is tested in Phoenix 1.0.7.11 - so I'd suggest you just get whatever iframe code from Amazon, try pasting it in the description part of the product an then viewing the page shop side.
