Guest Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Hi i have been trying to change the copyright text which appears at the bottom of the page of the shop on Wiki it says that i should find the text on the bottom of default.php in the catalog folder but im pretty sure thats not where it is as i have checked it over and over it aint there does anyone know where i might find it ??
Guest Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 You will find the copyright info at the bottom of the english.php file found in the languages folder. If you are using multi-languages you will need to change also these files
xxGeek Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 ../catalog/includes/languages/lang_to change.php eg english.php Please leave this comment intact together with the following copyright announcement. */ define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', 'Copyright © 2003 <a href="http://www.oscommerce.com" target="_blank">osCommerce</a><br>Powered by <a href="http://www.oscommerce.com" target="_blank">osCommerce</a>'); hope this helps, but read the LICENSE before changing  The more you do, the more you learn
loxly Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 You can easily add your own copyright notice in the includes/footer.php file. Unless you re-wrote the oscommerce code you won't want to take off the powered by reference. [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
Chad Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Unless you re-wrote the oscommerce code you won't want to take off the powered by reference. looks like he already removed the "Powered By". gg.
