shopandspree Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 I have created a site on a serverand I am wondering if it is possible to copy this site to another server without having to go through the whole oscommerce install procedure. Is this possible? and how would you go about doing it? Thank you in advance Angelo
xxGeek Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 well you back it up firt of all. when you back up save the sql to local drive than copy everything as is to the other server than create a database on the other server, load the prev... mentioned sql file. Edit the catalog/includes/configure.php and agmin/includes/configure.php to set your server and db, get all dir.. premissions set, and it should work fine :wink: The more you do, the more you learn
