Guest Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 Before installation, did you chmod your 2 admin and catalog/includes/configure.php to 777 ? http://wiki.oscommerce.com/helpInstallNew HTH The_Bear
andredub Posted June 29, 2003 Author Posted June 29, 2003 can you tell me how to do this with windows xp pro? this could be my solution. Thanks
Guest Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 right click on configure.php file and property and uncheck attributes and after installation put back to read only attibutes HTH The_Bear
JesseMa Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 I am having the exact same errors and I have changed the files to 777. So I don't think that is the problem.
andredub Posted June 29, 2003 Author Posted June 29, 2003 I have removed the READ ONLY Attribute on the configure.php files and I still have the same problem. I've looked at the containing folders attributes as well. But here something weird is happening. I can change the folder's attribute not to be read only, apply it, Click OK with no problems. But when I go back in it, the folder's attribute is back to read-only. Any one who attempted an install under WINDOWS with IIS has had this problem.
