Newbie: Are options really supported

Hi

Am I right in saying that multiple option products are are not really supported.

Yes I know you can add colour etc but what if all your products have a colour option and you have 100 products, won't the admin option section get unusable as you can find which 'colour' in the dropdown matches which product.

I've been trying to find a sample shop with an option 'colour', say and different enteries for 2 products

e.g. shirt= Blue, Red & Hat= Pink, Green

I know that has been answered on this forum, do a search on the words drop down boxes, it may have the answer, if not try different phrases
