The site has locked me out and despite resetting my password in my host's cpanel, the system still comes up with an error stating incorrect username / password. I do remember resetting my htaccess to what was "recommended" and thinkk thi may be where my problem lies. How do I access the htaccess file and delete it ? ♥ecartz Posted March 29, 2020 Share Posted March 29, 2020 The .htaccess and .htpasswd_oscommerce files are in the admin directory. So in cPanel, you should be able to use File Manager to delete them. Or SFTP and delete them that way. You may want to create backup copies before deleting them. E.g. by downloading the files first. Always back up before making changes.
