Changing admin directory

Im a real begginer at this app so bear with me.

Im running oscommerce-2.2ms1.

I made the mistake of not changing my "admin" directory under my catalog dir to a secret name. Now everything is set up and my admin dir is easily accessed by anyone. What is recommended? Password protect the dir? I tried changing the admin dir name but then all the links broke.

Yes, you should definately password protect your /admin directory :!:
