Guest Posted June 29, 2003 Posted June 29, 2003 Hi, While developing websites I came across a really useful DOS/Unix command line tool that allowed a developer to simulate slower connection speeds both offline and online - useful if you were developing over an ethernet network or using a highspeed connection. I came across this tool, http://www.dallaway.com/sloppy/ the other day, looks like it does the same thing but with more control and is written in Java so should work on almost anything. I am sure many of you will find this a useful tool to performance test your OSCommerce powered websites. Thanks, Taz "they lock me in a room and make me do strange things" - DS Developers
