CSV IMPORT V2 FOR 2.3.4 STORES blocking image uploads when store is switched to SSL

I recently installed the 

CSV IMPORT V2 FOR 2.3.4 STORES

worked  great.

Then I switched the site to SSL and the text is still easy to upload, but the images are not uploading. Previously uploaded images also still work.

Does anyone know a fix or why it becomes an issue to upload with this tool? Help appreciated...

I was able to solve this issue by 

1) uploading the images directly to the catalog/images/ folder and

2) deleting the reference https or http://mysite.com/catalog/images/picture_name.ext, so

3) just having picture_name.ext in csv file.

Also make sure you don't have picture name.ext and instead use picture_name.ext and make sure names are not too long. Both those also cause some issues.
