set up 'about us' statement

Moving my platform over to Phoenix 1.0.4.1.  Don't remember how to set up the section 'about us', on the front page of the site. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Text is always in language files.  For the front page, look in includes/languages/english/index.php (replace language as appropriate) or the files in includes/languages/english/modules/content/index .

That was not it.  On the front of the web site, bottom it has a place for a statement. "about us".  Need to know where that is in the files so I can update it.

There is no "about us" page in the footer of a new install if that is what you mean - you have added it maybe.
Tip: You can use a text editor like notepad++ or Visual Studio Code to search all your files for anything.

From admin go to Tools=>Define languages and open modules/content/footer/cm_footer_text.php

There's a footer module called Text Block, use that, either change the name in the language files or create a copy first then change them.
