maggitronic Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Hello, I need to integrate a shopping cart situation into a pre-existing content site for a non-profit so that people can purchase real items like T-shirt, CDs, etc. AND they can also donate money and receive no real "item". I also don't need the "Bestsellers" "Specials" and "What's New" sections that are in osCommerce. I am considering switching to *EDIT* because of their free install. My question is: Do you think that osCOmmerce can easily be modified and customized to fit my needs, or would I be better off starting from scratch or using something else. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks, Maggie *EDIT* - Johnson
Daemonj Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 So long as you are familiar with PHP and MySQL (or are willing to learn), osC can easily be modified to meet your needs. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." - A. Einstein
