CVC505 Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 I sell art prints in my store (or will when it goes live) the same print is available in several different sizes. Rather then relist the print for each size I would like to use the attributes function to show the price for each size. I have had several people look at the site and they say having the base price of $2.00 with a $22.50 adder for the 22X26 version is to confusing. Has anybody else used this function in their store and how have you worked it out. I tried not having a base price but then on checkout the price is shown as $0.00 with the final price adder It gives the right total but is still confusing. anybody have a suggestion for this? Thanks CVC505 Rick Hanzlik
Guest Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 How about taking a print and doing more of a subtracting. So base if for your standard print 22x26 and then remove x amount if they downgrade by sizes so day 11x13 the price is $13 lower so -$13
tpro Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 I'm not sure if you've found the solution, but I'm new and still working on my site. I'm running MS2 and installed the "options - price update" contribution. With a lot of headaches and some minor tweaking I got it to automatically change the option and price in the header. This works for me since I only use one option per item. Testing shows the price will update for multiple options, but I liked the idea of changing the attribute in the heading. You can check it out at www.cfdjewelry.com. If its what your looking for I may be able to retrace my steps and figure out what I did!!!
