♥Moxamint Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Hi, Is there a reason why navbar modules "Languages" & "Currencies" are disabled on checkout pages? Is it going to cause any issues if they are enabled during the checkout? Thanks in advance for your advice. Eddy
Heatherbell Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Never noticed that until you said - best guess is that it's coded in the module file that way for a good reason so probably would cause a problem if you change the core code for them to show. I also guess that a customer would have chosen a currency/language option before checkout in any case.
♥Moxamint Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 @Heatherbell I did change the core code and everything went well so far. I just wanted to make sure it isn't something bad that I should not be doing. Cheers, Eddy
Heatherbell Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Sounds bad! 😉 It's probably a Jenga tower. 😁
burt Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Historically so. Dont know why. Possibly have some unwanted effect on payment module selection ?

kgtee Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I believe it is intentional to ensure customers spear ahead to checkout and not to be distracted by other things. 😀
