cornishpirate Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 IOS 13 is soon to be launched, and Safari will by default display desktop versions of websites you visit, though this can be changed in Safari Settings. It does so by changing the browser’s user agent so that web servers are fooled into believing that you’re using Safari on desktop. This potentially can cause problems, so I recommend installing the beta version of 13 to find out. I think that controversy has already begun! The iPhone version doesn't fool around with the user agent.
burt Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Does it matter with a responsive site? With an adaptive site...it would matter. With a reponsive site, it shouldn't (in my opinion). Put another way...what problems could it potentially cause?
