Product Options

I see no way to specify if a product option is mandatory or not, my products have several options most of which are optional. Is there a way to configure that?

I notice too the design of the shop  makes sure the customer must choose one selection out of every option , just like a hard bundle, not truly optional.

To let the customer not to choose any option, I work around by creating a trivial selection called "default" or "not required" with zero price value. This is a small hassle which I will bear with it for the time being.

simply go to the attributes moduel and set "add helper text" to false. You can also set selection to false if it's not required or you can set first attribute ( which wil be the default) to zero cost if a selection must be made.
