Guest Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Is it possible to email an invoice from the admin section that has been generated from a purchase? I want to be able to send the buyer a copy of the actual invoice for their order. Some of the products we sell we do not physically have on hand and have them sent from our supplier, so we want to email them a copy of their actual invoice. We are sending them via snail mail but would rather email them. Thanks for any help. Mike
Guest Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 anyone anyone??? This would be quite helpful? 8) thanx
Guest Posted July 16, 2003 Posted July 16, 2003 I agree what this will be helpful but it will make my day and whole year if there could be an accounting system integrated with OSC
Guest Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 Can't you just go to admin/orders select invoice, then copy and paste into an email??
Guest Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 It's easy enough to copy and paste the invoice into e-mail but it should look much more professional (and save a lot of time) if OSC could send the invoice direct after purchase. Should not be too difficult for an excellent programer.
Guest Posted July 17, 2003 Posted July 17, 2003 I've done it on my site and it looks like the normal invoice.
Guest Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 Why not just add a link so that the customer can print the invoice after they make the order? Or are you wanting an invoice after the status update?
Guest Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 You stated I've done it on my site and it looks like the normal invoice. How did you do it? Or how would you just add a link
Guest Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 i have the same question.... how did you do it? I want it to email the user the HTML invoice without any link... just as the standard invoice... it already makes the HTML, it already applies it to that users account... it makes so much sense... Im curious what you guys have?!
Guest Posted July 19, 2003 Posted July 19, 2003 Pick an order, click on invoice, it opens in a new window. Highlight everything on the page, then right click and copy. Paste it into an email. Looks like a standard invoice.
