hst9 Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Hello all, I am having some problems installing OSC on a redhat8 system with apache, mysql and php. I get through the first installation process of entering the required details and I click continue, it then takes me to to the following page http://localhost/catalog/install/install.php?step=2 that only contains : osCommerce Open Source E-Commerce Solutions New Install Step 1: Database Import -- no error messages and no options to continue or enter more information. anyone?
Daemonj Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Most likely your database user does not have the lock privilege in mysql. Edit your .htaccess file in your public_html folder to add the following line: php_flag display_errors on and let me know what the page says when you get to it again.
