newbei howto snapshot

Hi,

 

I am new to daily snapshot and i found out that i a, not able to install it.

i don't understand how to do it where do i have to put the folders,

should i have installed a version of f osc2.2 already?

 

sorry but its new to me and i can't find information about it!

 

:idea: i need some help :arrow:

where do i find it or how want to help me :?: :!:

on the moment i am in :shock: zo plz help me to install it

Decompress the file that you downloaded from osC. Take the second admin folder and copy it to the second catalog folder.

 

Then delete all of the cvs files and folders.

 

FTP the second catalog folder up to your domain server's public_html folder.

 

Create a database and database user on your domain's server.

 

Then open your browser and go to www.yourdomain.com/install and go through the install process.

just one thing i don't get how do i know what files are changed ?

I know that you can see it in the cvs files but i don't understand

how it works, and my english is not good enough to

understand the docs that i found a bout its item.

 

are you able to tel me simple it works?

At this point you do not need to worry about CVS. Get your store installed and running and then you can work on CVS.

 

The way that CVS works is that it tracks the changes to a file. You use a program that works with a CVS server to integrate the changes to your file.

 

It sounds simple but there is some work to it. ;)
