Guest Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Hi There, What is needed to move an existing osc to another server? Is it difficult and does it require a new installition on the new server?
Wizzud Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Simple: In Admin, do a Backup of your database[*]Copy your entire catalog and admin file structure to your new server (by whatever means is simplest) [*]Load your database backup file into your new db server using phpMyAdmin or equivalent [*]Change your 2 configure.php files to reflect the new path structure and database settings [*]Check premissions on directories such as images [*]Fire it up!
