mjpcomp Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Yeah, it's a lot... I know... But, there's no way in hell I can go through them all to weed them out (and repeat the process when I get updated data files).... So, I need to dump the complete database into osC... Yes, I can split up the database into smaller chunks and use EasyPopulate, but, imagine having to import about 100+ files = NOT FUN (plus the wait time for each import). What I'm looking for is ways that other people have gotten extremely large product databases into osC... Hmm, I guess an automate script for EasyPopulate would be nice. If you have sequentially numbered databases, tell it to import all that begin with the file name, example: Giantdatabase000.txt ... Giantdatabase140.txt Just tell it that the name is "Giantdatabase", and it will start at 000 and import through the last number it finds, in order... Anyone working on something like this? Or know if a simple hack to do this?
