Losing cart contents when moving to SSL

Hi Folks,

I've installed the store, but when i go to the checkout and ssl mode, i lose the contents of the cart.

 

I'm using mysql to store the sessions,

i have tried deleting sessions from sessions table

 

I'd don't know where to try next????
