Cheeky Chino Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 I do not have enough room to add good enough descriptions about my products. 1. The product title isnt long enough for long titles, it just cuts of after about 30 or so characters. 2. In thwe products description, it wont let you add large amount of product descriptions. How do i fix these? Ozcasemodz.com - Your All Australian Case Modding Site Ozsource.com.au - Your Australian Counter-Strike: Source Website

Jason Jacobs Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 You have to go into the database and change the length of the fields. For the description, you can change it to TEXT instead of VARCHAR, and you'll be able to add a lot of text. I'd be careful about making really long names anyway. It will mess up a lot of alignment and formatting. That's what the description is for. :) -j

Jason Jacobs Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 That depends on how you can get to your database. The easiest way is to go into phpMyAdmin and change the properties on the tables. But that's only if you have phpMyAdmin. You could log into mysql from a prompt and issue an alter table statement, but I don't know how that works. Mysql.com has documentation that would probably help. -j
