Melinda Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 If I put the date available on a product in the future but make it in stock, will someone be able to buy it before the available date? This is why I ask, I would like to put my ebay auctions in my store under their categories. What I'd like to do is put the date available as in the future after the auction ends. I would make the ad have a link to the current auction for that item and if it goes unsold at auction I would edit the ad to make it available in the store. I know I can make something out of stock while it is at auction and then make it in stock if it doesn't sell at ebay, what I want is a way to make it show up on my store with a link to the auction but make it so it can't be bought through the store (until I edit it and make it so). I guess the option I want is out of stock but show in the store anway. Hope this is clear what I want to do and someone has a suggestion for me :) TIA, Melinda
Guest Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 YOU CAN click products on and off very easy , when you add a product, look at the page , you will see the products that are shown and not
Melinda Posted June 23, 2003 Author Posted June 23, 2003 horse, thanks for the reply (though I didn't understand it!) What I did find out is that I could set the checkout to false so they can't proceed to checkout with a product that isn't available yet, I think that will work. Thanks, Melinda
