Daisy Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Is it possible to hide prices from view until a password is entered, which will then allow prices etc to display? I have a wholesale only cart and dont want non traders to be able to access prices etc, otherwise there is no protection for genuine traders. I am looking for a way that will display the photos of the products available basically the cart with no prices, but then the customer has to register giving details of trade status, so I need notification coming to me. I then supply them with a password that will allow them full access to the site and cart with prices etc Is this possible to do?

Daisy Posted June 22, 2003 Author Posted June 22, 2003 Thank you for your reply, we already have the cart set up so that people have to register before seeing products but some are filling in the registration form using 'fake' details and as long as all required fields are completed they are then able to access the full cart. We have inserted a field for 'Trade references' hoping this would have solved the problem but as long as something is written in this section it will allow access. Basically i need to be able to 'vet' people before htey are given full site access.

I have searched but i am obviously not very good at it. LOL I always get either 40 pages of links to read or none. Nothing in between. Thank this will help a lot.
