aed Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Hi guys, I haven't had too much experience with oscommerce, but I'm trying to do something specific with a site, and I was wondering if it was capable in OSC. I need to make a computer-selling web site, in which clients can search through a catalog and choose "customize" on a certain machine and be able to change options within the computer and have the total instantly updated. On top of that, I'd like to have an image of the machine shown on the "customize" page, but I'd like that image to change if, for example, a client chooses a different type of case. I'd apprecite any direction! Andrew

Images for the attributes of a product? That's an interesting idea. I'm afraid that is not supported at the moment, but I would certainly put it in as a feature request. The option chosen could over-ride the default product image with a different one, or each option could have its own thumbnail image, to show what has been selected, in addition to the main product image. That would be a nice feature. -- Jason
