Adding Sales Tax to my item prices

I have sales tax setup to charge 8.25% on all orders shipped to CA. The problem is when anyone from CA is "logged in" it is automatically adding the sales tax to the product price. Anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

 

And yes in the configuration area, I have "display sales tax" set to false.

go to application top and look for this line 139 or so

define('DISPLAY_PRICE_WITH_TAX', true); // Display prices with tax (true) or without tax (false)

 

Set the true to false
