canfone Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 I have just started using OsCommerce - I love it... I think I have the latest release - but not the CVS. I have tried to update my current version with the CVS and I have had all kinds of error messages and problems. Is there any easy way to upgrade to the "snapshot". I don't have shell access, so I don't use those fancy Unix diff commands to upgrade from the command line... I have to download to my desktop unzip then reupload... canfone Posted June 20, 2003 Author Posted June 20, 2003 Ok, What I have done is download the latest CVS,.. Install a fresh copy. Then manually go through to the english.php, index.php, stylesheet.css and make all of the necessary changes... I didn't want to screw anything up by "Upgrading" or so this is a clean install with a new database. I am now going to attempt using phpAdmin to manually move products over..
