Image resize as %, not hard value

Has anyone successfully modified the code to resize images to a % instead of a hard number?

 

I've got many different shaped images and I want the thumbnail to simply be a percentage size smaller than the larger image.

Hi,

 

If you will leave the width box completely blank and set your height in admin osc automatically will resize it constrained.
